Farewell to a Good Friend

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tibor Laczko on January 18, 2017 at 52 years of age in Beaverdam, Ohio. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, especially by his beloved wife. His legacy will live on through his surviving family; By his wife Maria, his two daughters Dora and Zsofia, and his son Gregory.

Chain Up Season

Winter is officially upon us. Even if the road conditions close to home appear nice, it is important to remember that the weather can change very quickly in higher altitudes. All professional truck drivers should be aware it is ‘chain up season’ and that any commercial truck over 27,000 kg GVW must carry chains from October 1st to March 31st.

Aside from being equipped with chains, you still need to know when to use them. Stay up to date with current chain up requirements here.

It’s 6:30 in the morning. You grab your morning coffee and head out the door. As you travel down the street, you notice that due to the morning fog, visibility is quite limited. As you approach the next intersection, you safely come to a stop and scan both directions before proceeding; everything looks clear.
