BC Trucking Association
The BC Trucking Association (BCTA) is a province-wide, non-partisan, non-profit motor carrier association formed solely to advance the interests of British Columbia motor carriers. The T&P Trucking profile can be viewed here.
C-TPAT Program Partner
The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a voluntary supply chain security program led by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and focused on improving the security of private companies’ supply chains with respect to terrorism. FAST Program Participant
The Free and Secure Trade (FAST) program is a commercial clearance program for known low-risk shipments entering the United States from Canada and Mexico. Initiated after 9/11, this innovative trusted traveler/trusted shipper program allows expedited processing for commercial carriers who have completed background checks and fulfill certain eligibility requirements. FMCSA Licensing & Insurance Database
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) provides authorized for-hire motor carrier, freight forwarder and property broker licensing and insurance data to the industry and public via telephone requests and paper reports. This web site makes it possible to offer this information electronically. All information displayed via a database query is public information which has long been available under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The T&P Trucking profile can be viewed here.
FMCSA SAFER System
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Safety and Fitness Electronic Records (SAFER) System offers company safety data and related services to industry and the public over the Internet. Users can search FMCSA databases, register for a USDOT number, pay fines online, order company safety profiles, challenge FMCSA data using the DataQs system, access the Hazardous Material Route registry, obtain National Crash and Out of Service rates for Hazmat Permit Registration, get printable registration forms and find information about other FMCSA Information Systems. PIP Program Partner
Partners in Protection (PIP) is a cooperative program between private industry and the CBSA aimed at enhancing border and trade chain security. It is designed to streamline and make border processes more efficient for low-risk, pre-approved businesses recognized as trusted traders. Safety Driven COR Certified
The Safety Driven Trucking Safety Council of BC (Safety Driven) represents the occupational health and safety needs of businesses in the trucking, transportation, warehousing, shipping and logistics sector. They award Certificates of Recognition (COR) to employers and owner-operators who show commitment to workplace safety and effective injury management.
