Chain Up Season

Winter is officially upon us. Even if the road conditions close to home appear nice, it is important to remember that the weather can change very quickly in higher altitudes. All professional truck drivers should be aware it is ‘chain up season’ and that any commercial truck over 27,000 kg GVW must carry chains from October 1st to March 31st.

Aside from being equipped with chains, you still need to know when to use them. Stay up to date with current chain up requirements here.
