Farewell to a Good Friend
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tibor Laczko on January 18, 2017 at 52 years of age in Beaverdam, Ohio. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, especially by his beloved wife. His legacy will live on through his surviving family; By his wife Maria, his two daughters Dora and Zsofia, and his son Gregory.
Tibor was a long standing professional truck driver and mechanic from his young adulthood in Hungary. He had been working with our company for more than 18 years of reputable service. He drove over two million miles with our company alone. His work ethic and reliable service to our company was second to none. He had such an easy going and professional approach to his work that we never had to worry if he would be late, absent or out of service. He often laughed and joked around with our staff who all regarded him as a friend. He would often say how fortunate he was to have Maria as a wife and how understanding she is, how proud he was of his daughters being in university, and how he needs to be nicer to his son because he was getting so much bigger than he. Clearly, he was a loving man who put his family before anything else.
If you would like to contact the family with your condolences, please do so via the Maria and Tibor Laczko Facebook page or leave a comment below and we will be sure to pass it along.
Saying Goodbye
While we were all sad that we didn’t get to say goodbye to our dear friend Tibor, we thought it would be appropriate to have a salute to him at our month end office lunch. We each took a turn relating what made Tibor such a great employee and good friend. This lunch will continue to be memorable because we finally cracked the seal on a bottle of brandy Tibor bought for us 8 years ago while visiting friends and family in Hungary.
It was a grand salute to our fallen comrade. RIP Tibor.
Celebration of Life
Some of you may have been unable to attend Tibor’s ‘Celebration of Life’ services. If so, please enjoy the following pictures taken at the service.
