New Operations Manager Announcement
This is a formal announcement that on October 16, 2015, Derek Pearce has assumed the role and title of Operations Manager within our company. He has been working with T&P Trucking since 2007, and during that time he has gained much insight and experience in dealing with both internal functions and external operations of the company. He is an obvious choice and we have every confidence that he is well suited for this role. His dedication and work ethic are a testimony to this.
Some of his added responsibilities will include:
- Driver recruiting, hiring, training, and discipline; in association with the Safety Manager.
- Sales and driver payroll management; in association with the Administration Manager.
- Operations team leader, employee recruiting, training.
- Company policy training and enforcement.
- Oversight of yard and company equipment operations.
