T&P Trucking Ltd is now looking for an honest, dynamic and energetic person to fill an opening Dispatcher position in their Operations Dept. Please consider the following before applying:
Knowledgeable in:
- Experience in trucking dispatch is preferred
- Sales & customer service experience is an asset
- Computer literate (Windows, Microsoft Office)
- US/CA border crossing procedure
- Canada and USA geography
Skills needed:
- Good communication
- Team player
- Problem solving
- Adaptable
Responsible for:
- Providing quotes and negotiating rates for their particular area
- Booking shipments from customers and entering those order details into the dispatch program
- Load planning and delivery scheduling
- Load tracking and tracing
- Dispatching shipment details accurately to truckers
- Submitting customs paperwork and eManifests for border clearances
