2017 Golf Tournament Highlights
This year’s golf tournament at Tall Timbers Golf Course set a new standard for what a golf tournament was truly capable of. From ripped shirts and team rivalries to free-wheeling golf carts and shirtless players, everyone went home with plenty of new stories they were no doubt eager to chat about come Monday morning. We once again had our cheerful T&P crew scattered throughout the golf course in order to assist in the tournament’s success. Keep reading to see some of the photo highlights from the tournament.
If you were at last years tournament you will definitely remember the less than ideal weather conditions that convinced us to shorten the tournament down to the first 10 holes. Fortunately this year was the complete opposite as we had nearly cloudless skies and plenty of sun so all teams were able to complete the entire 18 hole course.
Team Photos
Everything went according to schedule and the first team was ready to tee off at 9:15 AM. This year we had a total of 10 pro-looking teams who were eager to get their golf on. Here are the some of the photos of each team:
Trophies and Prizes
We appreciate that all of our customers work just as hard as we do to keep drivers and clients happy. We never want anyone to get stressed out with their jobs so we always look forward to rewarding our customers with something to take their minds of work. T&P wanted everyone to have a good time, so we supplied all players with golf carts, golf greens, a BBQ dinner, achievement trophies, and tons of raffle prizes. We would also like to thank all who donated extra giveaway prizes so all of our golfers were guaranteed not to go home empty handed.
Appreciation
Another benefit from this annual tournament is that we get to see your faces. As most of the work we all do requires constant phone calls and emails, it’s easy to forget which face goes with the voice we are talking to. When we get to hang out and play some golf with you we get to see you and hear how things are going. The casual setting is excellent for putting all of us at ease so we can listen to your comments and commendation. It is a great way to find out what our customers enjoy about T&P along with where we could improve. And hearing our customers’ positive comments each year reminds us of why we work so hard for them.
Special thanks goes to our organiser Chuck Merritt. He gave a considerable amount of his time to help organize and arrange this years event. Special thanks also goes to HUB-TOS Internetional Ltd of Bunaby, who sponsored the $10,000 hole-in-one prize and to Langley Chrysler for supplying the 2018 Dodge Challenger hole-in-one prize.
We again also give a big thank you towards all 10 teams who gave up a day in their weekend to come hang out with us. These teams represent some of the best companies in the Greater Vancouver Area and help support T&P Trucking by relying on us to care for their flatbed trucking desires.
Until Next Time!
We hope everyone had just as good of a time as we did and look forward to trying joining us again for an epic tournament next year! But we would love to see you sooner than that. If you’re ever in our neighbourhood, please stop in to say hi and have a coffee with us.
