Highlights From 2014 Golf Tournament
We had another great time playing and meshing with our customers at the T&P Trucking’s 2014 Annual Golf Tournament on September 6, 2014 at the Tall Timber Golf Course of Langley, BC. It turned out to be a great success with many old highlights brought back from previous years. Keep reading to find out more…
The weather turned out very nice compared to the weeks leading up to this event. The clear sunny skies allowed us to tee off starting at 9:00 AM while the golf carts allowed us to keep a good pace, with the last team in by 3:15 PM.
We tried to supply as many items as we could in order for all to have a fun time. This including a packaged lunch, power carts, golf greens, beverages, BBQ dinner, raffle prizes, and achievement awards. Highlights that were brought back from previous years were the hole-in-one prizes of $10,000.00 and also a 2014 Chrysler vehicle. All of this combined meant that no one would walk away empty handed.
Special thanks go to Chuck Merritt from T&P Trucking for the majority share in arranging this event, HUB-TOS Insurance Ltd of Burnaby, BC for sponsoring the $10,000.00 “hole-in-one” prize at fairway number 6, Langley Chrysler of Langley, BC for providing the “hole-in-one” 2014 Jeep Wrangler prize at fairway number 10, and all others who pitched in prizes for the raffle.
We also would like to again thank all 9 teams, representing companies spanning from Vancouver to Langley, for participating in this annual event and for supporting T&P Trucking by your relying on our company to provide your shipping needs. You truly have made our company excel in our industry. We look forward to seeing you all again either by visiting you at your place of business or seeing you again at the next tournament!
