2013 Golf Tournament!
T&P Trucking’s 2013 Annual Golf Tournament was again held at the scenic Tall Timber Golf Course in Langley, BC on Saturday August 10, 2013. It was made a success by our loyal and spirited customers as well as the grand efforts of our MC, Chuck Merritt. It was attended by representatives from our customer’s various management, administrative and operations departments which made up a total of 8 four-member teams.

On this cloudy and cool morning, tee off times started for the “Texas Scramble” style game at 9:30 AM just outside the Tall Timber’s Clubhouse. Golf carts provided by Tall Timber’s Pro Shop helped all to keep cool and to keep up a good pace. By noontime, the weather improved with hot temperatures, blue skies and 100% visibility with the last team finishing by 4:00 PM at the Clubhouse patio. Score cards were handed in for official tally and calculation, while dinner with beverage and many laughs awaited the participants.
Trophies were then awarded in this order to the following participants and teams:
Women’s Closest to the Pin – Barbara Feetts, Team NAP Steel
Men’s Closest to the Pin – Minton Fung, Team NAP Steel
Women’s Longest Drive – Wendy Wang, Team Cedarline Industries
Men’s Longest Drive – Ron Tu, Team Cedarline Industries
“Most Honest Golfers” – Team Terra Nova Steel
1st Place – Team Cedarline Industries
We would like to give a big “Thank you!” to our MC, Chuck Merritt, for organizing this event as well as to our many Customers and Vendors that donated gifts for the various consolation prizes that went to the other participants. Special “Thanks!” goes out to the Management and Staff at Tall Timber Golf Course for hosting this annual event and for providing all the golf carts, food and beverage for our Customers!
